In the Shadow of Knowing
Creative writer James Giffords, worked on a series of short stories and poems over the course of three years, and commissioned me with the exciting task of creating visual counterparts to his writings. Via texts, phone calls, and google docs-- we bounced ideas and stories until we arrived at a place that felt right. In The Shadow of Knowing and in the Presence of Love. This project was one of the most fulfilling things I've ever been apart of. From designing custom type to researching and creating imagery. From top to bottom, this was truly a multi-media endeavor that allowed me to try new techniques and flex old tricks.
